About us

Kindness Community is a Community Interest Company (CIC) committed to making the world a kinder place for everyone.

We fundraise to send Mental Health Packs all over the world to people in need. We also send Kindness Kits (Little gifts of love through the letterbox) to people having a tough time, particularly with their physical or mental health.

Kindness Community was founded in 2020 by Laura Hope Cordell. She runs everything voluntarily so all proceeds from the Online Market for Kindness Community and product sales on our website go directly to Kindness Community to help people in need.

Laura also set up the Kindness and Wellbeing Group in Dartford. This peer support group is open to everyone and offers kindness, compassion and non-judgemental understanding to everyone who comes through the door. There's also tonnes of crafts and games available plus a great deal of friendly nattering over a cuppa! The group is a lifeline for many and many group members get involved in supporting the work we do by making up mental health packs for people in need.

We've won several awards for our work and been featured in newspapers, radio and even on TV too.
